My Thoughts on Running

“Run Hard, Be Strong, Think Big!”

I started running since February 2009; in fact, I realized that I could run a mile without a break. Even though the running had grown on me, I got injured pushing too much mileages at once while playing tennis. So, I had to take some break and later ran time to time casually.

November 2009 – I wanted to do something meaningful for my birthday while challenging my inner-strength and find out more about myself. That’s how I decided to run my 1st half-marathon on Thanksgiving day in Atlanta, and now I am in the zone!

The story begins….

“I ran and ran and ran every day, and I acquired this sense of determination, this sense of spirit that I would never, never give up, no matter what else happened.”

“Running is a road to self-awareness and reliance … you can push yourself to extremes and learn the harsh reality of your physical and mental limitations or coast quietly down a solitary path watching the earth spin beneath your feet. But when you are through, exhilarated and exhausted, at least for a moment everything seems right with the world.”

“People begin running for any number of motives, but we stick to it for one basic reason-to find out who we really are.”
